How to change owner of applications in the Application Center (msm.live.com)
MSDN Forums: Live ID - I have a number of applications, which were created with a specific windows live account; I would like to change the ownership (administrative permissions) of those applications to a different windows live account.

It seems that it would not be possible to just delete and recreate the applications (under a new win live account) as that would change the application ID.

Is there a way to change the ownership of the applications? Or is there a support team which would be able to handle such a change on a manual basis?

Thanks in advance,
Sune Kaae

The application domain cannot be added to the application because it already exists
MSDN Forums: Live ID - Hello,

I've got a new domain (www.svira.se) and I'm building a new application to invite your friends to this webbsite (it's a community).

Got the application and just need a application-id and a secret key. Tried to add my application but I keep getting this error:

The application domain cannot be added to the application because it already exists

I have checked all my other Live! accounts and no one got any applications registred.

Any clues why this happens? The domain is new and should not have been registred before...

please help!

Web and client authentication - Getting authToken from cId
MSDN Forums: Live ID -

Hi.

I have two applications both registered on Windows Live ID, one is a web application and one is client application.

From my web application, I invoke some webservices, passing them the authToken of the user who is actually logged. This authToken is the one returned by the windows live web authentication.

Now I should invoke these webservice also from the client application but when the user logs-in, I get his cId value and I don't understand how to get a valid authToken for my web application.

The user credentials are the same both when logging to the web and client application.

Can anyone suggest me something?

Thanks in advance.

MSDN Forums: Live ID - I'm trying to integrate with Windows Live ID and the login screen i get it the one that says "Microsoft is not affiliated with ..."
I saw different login screens as one on MSN Games (for GameSpring on zone.msn.com).

My question is: What do I need to do (or what my company needs to do) in order to use this login screen?

Thanks.

Invalid Domain Name for registration.
MSDN Forums: Live ID -

Hi, Could you please explicitly allow "biddly.com.au" as a domain name.

I'm presuming this is due to it having the word "bid" in it (many Windows Live teams have this blocked by default) - unblocking by request only.

I have another application ID under another domain that works fine, but does not contain the word "bid".

I appreciate this,

Joshua Davison
